As a former creator/writer of a monthly newsletter, designed particularly for Mary Kay Directors and their teams of consultants, I originally created this blog to be an alongside resource for women involved in this beauty industry.

However, I soon realized that topics pertaining to living successfully and beautifully are often helpful and interesting to women from many walks of life.

So whether you're involved in MK, another business, or not in business at all, I hope that you will find something here to inspire you to success... and to give you glimpses of living it more beautifully at the same time.

On The Joy of Creating....

Joy often comes when we have become so absorbed in creating something new that we forget everything else (including our woes).

And, as Brenda Ueland once put it, we become as children 'stringing beads in kindergarten -- happy, absorbed and quietly putting one bead on after another.'
